Yamaha carbed 40hp four stroke about 2003 is it
Is it the same engine as the mercury and mariner 40hp four stroke i have seen photos of one under the hood and it looks identical.I could wait untill i see it next week but was curious to know sooner ,anyone know

Don't remember the exact date, but that's about the time Merc stopped using Yamaha powerheads, so it could very well be.
