Yamaha 90hp oil consumption ??

Hi folks ,
After I solved the issue with my stator my 90hp works very well on my SR5.4 .
I was with the RIB on a sea trial today and burned 45 liters of fuel . Due to rough sea conditions I was mostly at 3500 rpm / 40km/h only .
Back at home I checked the oil tank and added exactly 1 liter of 2 stroke oil .
This is my first 2 stroke engine and thats why my question - is a 1:45 mixture normal for this motor ?????
My fuel tank has a capacity of 90 liter - means I`ll need 2 liters of oil per tank !!???
Fuel consumtion was about 0.5l / km . My F100A on another boat takes about the same ...
Would appreciate to hear about the experience of other 90hp users !
Thanks in advance !

Jürgen

Hi ,
Today I received this email from a Yamaha dealer in the UK :

Hi, Jurgen, all modern pre-mix (manually mixed fuel) Yamaha’s are specified at 100:1, but at 50:1 ratio for Autolube engines, so your 45:1 is quite normal and within tolerance.

Seems all is alright .
Was today out again and burned another 45 liters - and added again 1 liter oil .

Cheers Jürgen

So if you use a pre-mix instead of using the Autolube it should be 50:1 or does it mean the Autolube mixes it at 50:1?

No , I understand him like this that all motors without autolube working with a manual mix of 100 : 1 while the engines equipped with autolube are specified for around 50 : 1 - depending on load and rpm .
Regards Jurgen
