Yamaha 30 question (another)

Finally got engine working having topped up with clean fuel, replaced spark plugs, carb cleaner etc. Engine run wells for about 10 minutes then I lose power to just tick-over level.

It appears that the system could be shutting itself down when it is getting too hot, can anyone shed light on this?

Can anyone give me any other thoughts on what to look for.

2 stroke oil is full, lots of water coming through the tell tale, havent checked gearbox oil, is this a place to look. Some one mentioned about fuel tank being vented, as it is integral to the rib I expect it to be ok, will check...

Is engine hot? check thermostat. when engine goes inot emergency operation, turn it off and part pink wire from temp sender then see if it works briefly.
