Yamaha 150 2-Stroke data etc.

Asking for a Friend - yes really.

He's looking at a boat with the last of the Yamaha 150HP 2-strokes, Externally in great condition but wants to be able plug in and download the service data, hrs, etc. Not sure of the exact year at the moment.

Is this easily achievable?
Is the software available to download?
Are the leads easily available?

What data would be available from the Gauges?

Would appreciate any help.

hrs should be available from gauges but im not aware of any other "service" info that can be got.

Is it a proper 2 stroke or an hpdi? You can get diagnostics for the hpdi but dont think theres much info you can get from a proper 2 stroke

Guys, apologies for not acknowledging your replies sooner, thanks for the info.

From what I can gather it's an HPDI, so he should be able to access digital data with the correct equipment.
