Wiring up a fuel guage....

The wiring on my boat is shot and I'm wiring up a fuel gauge. The sender unit is an WEMA unit with two wires from it. There is no polarity from it so they can be wired either way. The gauge has three terminals at the back of it. The centre one is labelled "ground GND" .What way do I wire it up the other two ? And why!!! Nik

No.

I think you'll find the Pink wire is Ground/negative and the black is the sensor feed.
