which prop?
Hi,
I have recently purchased a 5.0m Searider with Mariner 75 engine.
The prop is pretty badly scored and mis-shapen. It is a 17" pitch and either a 12 or 13 inch diameter. The prop and engine were not originally matched to this RIB. Current top speed around 33kt in calm conditions.
My question is, does anyone have informaiton about what prop would suit this set up best? I am not interested in towing, but would like to be able to improve top end speed and fuel efficiency if poss. btw I do not have a rev counter so do not know how to judge 5700 rpm wot.
Any thoughts?
