What year is my outboard

Hi All
Just a quick one I have searched the site to no avail couple of dead links. But what I am after is to learn as much info about my spare outboard, the year really. It is a Mariner 4 Horse 6E0 2 Stroke 312080
Hope this is enough detail and hoping either some one on here has the links to find out or even the knowledge to know. Hoping for some luck.
