Personally, I don't see a huge advantage to those unless you have to have that small advantage in preventage leakage (which is unlikely with adequately tightened normal cable ties anyway.)

Thanks for the replies, I'm replacing all the water hoses on my 150hp blackmax as I'm getting salt crystals around the lower heads, the hoses look like the originals from early 90's so when I replace I want to make sure there are no leaks under load
