Two Stroke V8 or V6
Hi

I am based in UK and looking for a V6 or V8 Two stroke motor to use in the new race car I am building. Needs to have 300+ hp and similar torque. 300 XS or X considered.

Just need the engine + parts to make it run, nothing to do with a boat i.e. prop, covers etc.

One of the old Evinrude V8's might be what you are after... you wont find then easy to get hold of outside of the US....

Exactly - I am in contact with them discussing oil distribution when crank is horizontal .

Hillclimber I am very interested in your project even if it does have too many wheels ,this year I rode a 280cc Honda two stroke in the 350cc class and despite having a double lung transplant august 10th 2014 and being diagnosed with lymphoma cancer this june have won the NHCA 350 championship .I would like to know what meetings you do and meet up .back in the 70`s Rudi Kurth & Dane Rowe used crescent or monark outboard engines in a roadracing outfit and Kim Newcombe used one in a solo bike might be worth a google . Don't think you will get oil lubrication problems but I am no expert . good luck and keep in touch please , I can be contacted easily on paul@tidel.biz

Guys, I ussume you are familiar with the horizontal OMC V8 Alpha sterndrive setup that Bertels (Bernico, Belgium) built about ten year ago? Beautiful F2 boat. If not, contact them!
