Tiller extension on a 25hp

Well im running a 25hp 2 stroke on the back of my bombard 380 and its killing my arm to the point where I have to stop every 5 minutes and rest. I know this is an issue with weight distribution but its hard to level out the weight when the skipper is a 21stone lump

SO

Im looking to pop an extension on so I can sit on the seat in the middle of the boat. My question is, is this safe on a big outbard or am I just been a pansy????

Heres the one I thinking of buying
