Tiller arm help....please help

Hi Everyone,please can anyone help...

Does any one please please please have either a replacement (or one that will fit) tiller arm or mechanism that will replace this. When opening the throttle the cable must pull not push.It is the morse type cable.(single throttle cable)
On this setup there is a disc with teeth on that meshes with the throttle cable which acts like a worm. Both the disc and cable are worn on this tiller.
I am open to buying a different type of tiller if need be that has the offset on the same side as this one to bolt onto the bracket and that has the morse type cable that when the throttle opens the cable pulls rather than pushes the carb linkage to open the carbs....
Initially I was told that I needed a Yamaha 40h tiller as this would fit,but the engine is actually a Yamaha 50,its a bit of an oddball that has a few people puzzled. But I have since discovered that it was supplied to a few Thundercat race teams by Yamaha to use to see if it could be used in the race series about 9 or so years ago.It is the yamaha bluey grey and seems to not be the standard setup.

Getting to the end of my tether now and any suggestions will be enthusiastically recieved..

HELP PLEASE.....................

just have a look at "ebay.com" USA, I checked yesterday, there was a Tohatsu tiller handle.

On my side, I am searching a 40/50HP Tohatsu lower unit, long or short shaft - or both - if anyones knows ...

Hi Howy,
I think I have identified your tiller arm. Parts are still available. give me your email address and I will send you a parts breakdown and you can work out what you need.
Regards Gordon.
