Tach hour metre to bye or not

I was just wondering if any one had bought and used a Digital tach hour metre from ebay and if they were any good price around £8.00.Any feed back would be a help thanks.

To be honest the clue is in the pricing of it.

I have one but how good is it thats anyone's guess I use it for the hour metre that works fine, I have had it for two years and no problems yet I stuck it to the tiller useing velcro, instuctions on how to use it can be found on internet with a quick search

Thanks I thought that may be the case any idea what sort of price and make for something that works but is reasonably priced

Bhg Marine had some nice Yamaha ones for just under 20 squids which were discounted. would be worth giving them a call

Check Tiny Tach or Hardline Tachs, both hour/tach and with programmable firing sequence modes, could be used virtually on any engine type. Costs more, but that's money well spent. Nothing against the cheapo ones, but how accurate are they, that's the main question.
