Hi, OK these OBS will not REV over 3000rpm in neutruel. When you say you are unable to retract from safe mode?? what do you mean by this?? All you are doing when turning 12v ignition on, three pulls on cord etc, all you are doing here is resetting the service light on the gauge. Does the OB run fine in gear and at W.O.T OR IS this where your problem is in gear and wont go over 3000 rpm. Shame your dealer cant help you on this. let me know and I will try my best to help you out. has he put the SDS computer on it??Barry
