Suzuki 98" -00" dt9.9 to15

Hello!

Maybe sombebody could help me,i have an dt9.9 98" how can i upgrade it for 15hp ? I dont know what the diference dt9.9 and dt15 (this is 98-2002 modell ) california silver edition.

you would need to find a parts diagram/listing for both and go through the components to see where part numbers differed... such as block, head, carb, reeds, exhaust tube etc. Then find a maintenance manual to see if any of the tuning specs were different such as ign timing and spark plug grade.

Some makes are easy to do and others not worth the trouble.

I looked up on those listings which only went to 1997 and were for USA models but should give an indication of what you might need... the carb and exhaust tube part numbers were different from the 9.9 to 15.

I think thats an earlier modell( sorry for my bad english) own dt is 98-2002 its newer. I found some information a russian page just understand it.

This engine list just go to 97" my outboard newer own 98-02

Yes I know. I couldn't find a listing for DT9.9/15 models newer than 1997 but I'm sure if you keep looking there will be some online. I was just trying to give an example of a similar age models and their differences.
