Suzuki 225 HELP

Does any one know if you can interchange Evinrude or Johnson gearboxes with Suzuki?, I need a new gear box PDQ for my 2004 225 suzuki 4 stroke.

Johnson 4 strokes were mostly rebadged Suzukis though I don't know if they ever did as big as a 225

Yes, they did make a 225.
They're the same motor, but you'll need a tin of metallic black paint to make the Jonny lower unit look the part.
