prop pitch?

Any idea the best pitch stainless prop to use on a 8.5m RIB with a Suzuki 225efi engine?

Another "how long is a piece of string" questions but any ideas on the best all rounder?

Depends how loaded your boat is. About 19 - 21ish. I'd start at 19".

Thanks for that - have been told a 21" most suitable but all these things are a case of try it and see!

We're running a 19" (see our web site for more info). Our old 21" only allowed the revs up to 4800.

Oh dear, confusion rules.

I'm afraid that what your using on your motor has no relevance to this at all.

Apart from having 25hp more than you, codprawn also has 500 more revs to play with, almost certainly has a different ratio to you and as far as I know has a different boat as well!!

If it helps I had a 23" Lazer on my Phantom!

I keep looking, but none so far. Rumour has it there was going to be a Yamaha, but they couldn't get the nuts undone!
