Poor Hole Shot

I've got a 12 foot Nautical center/side console RIB I just bought. I have series issues getting it on plane. It tends to stand up a little and has no power down low. Once it gets to a certain spot and it takes off. It's hit the max rpm and sounds an alarm around 6400rpm no problem with just me on it at ~31mph. With three people it will hit 26mph. It's hard even with just me to get it to plane off. I also have one of those wing things on my lower unit. Additionally, the engine is in the highest spot, trim can't be adjusted lower and it has wedges to angle the motor back more. I'd like to see more low end, it's like the engine doesn't put out any power till it hits a little higher RPM. The only thing I can think is to try adding vents to my prop. Any one else have this issue or any ideas of how to help? Thanks

Assuming everything else is set up right I'd look at the prop. Are you expecting too much. 3-up with a 30hp is a tall order. Add in the weight of the boat and fuel too.

What's on it just now? Inspect the prop bushing too, in case it's damaged.
