Optimax oil price ??

I have been quoted 43.27 euro for a 4 litre container How does this compare with UK prices ? Should I consider getting it in the UK ? All comments appreciated .

Scotty , Who stocks it in Dublin ???? When we were looking an Optimax powered boat , we had resigend ourselves to driving to N.Ireland every now and again to buy Opti oil ....

We pay €36 for ficht oil and only get 3.75L

Brian, thought you might have bought some 4L cans with your XS-550 from Barnet. It only cost us £18.50 per can so we bought 18 of them!! Thats probably not the best price in the UK but it was very convenient for us and a hell of a lot better than Irish prices.

Scotty, the only problem with getting Opti oil from the UK is that it generally ships as hazardous goods and can work out quite expensive once shipped over.

I think we pay around £15-£16 a can over here but then there's VAT to take into consideration.......having said that, not even sure if VATs applicable!?

I thought ours was pricey but looking at the other posts we're doing quite well!!!

Not sure if you can get bigger sized cans for cheaper and decant into a smaller one????

opti oil

Scotty instead of trying OB marine, try your local Carrick craft in Malahide, 40 euro, or Mc Alese hour and half in Newry 25 pounds sterling, or Tom in Redbay 23 pounds sterling
