Optimax fuel filter

Sorry if this is a dull question, but does anyome know what the part number /where I can get hold of the fuel filter (under hood type) for a gen 2 Optimax 150. Would like to get it sent out next day if at all possible (no dealers all that nearby to us here)....

Second silly question....does anyone know how far away from the outboard I could locate the oil tank? I have a huge console where it would work brilliantly, but it's about 10 foot (say 13 foot of pipe) from the outboard...would that work or will I risk starving the OB of oil ?

Thanks in anticipation

Dan

It'll be fine. I have a similar (maybe longer) run of hoses to my tank.

Also make sure the hoses are fixed tight to the spiggots on the oil bottle or the pressure in the system will cause leaks and fill your console with expensive DFI oil

I used to take the dog fishing with me on the dory....he used to sit with his head in the fish box watching them.....that was until he regurgitated his dinner on them (didn't know dogs did seasick).
