Mercury XR 6

Looking at re-engining with a 150 XR6, anyone any experience/hints/tips/ with one?

Superb engines however you are going to need a bucket seat and a five point harness to stay in that Ribtec. Don't worry about the petrol, you could always slow down and wait for Mollers to catch you up with spare petrol

Gearbox is the smaller Merc/Mariner 75-125 size rather than the V6. Mariner equivalent was called Magnum. About 45 LPH in fuel.

Bout time we got back to real engines, none of this injected fuel sipping nonsense, boys toys should have big polished carbs and built from bits you can repair.
