a friend is looking at buying a second hand mercury engine. its a 30hp 4 stroke 2003 model, but he would like to know how many hours it has done.
heres the question,
does anybody know if these engines have a computer type chip that can be read by the local dealer to confirm how many hours have been done. i know other bigger engines have this tecknology, but i am not sure if the smaller models do.
