Lock out lever on a Suzuki DF 90.

Over the weekend i have been checking over the rib for the upcoming season (getting ready for April 28th, Angelsey cruise) going over all the basic stuff etc, just as i was finishing off for the day i thought i would have a quick look at the remotes and noticed that the lock out lever seems to be stuck, my engine is a Suzuki DF 90 (2004) does anyone have any suggestions (i've looked in the installation manual but there are no fault finding details.
Much appreciated..........Shaun............

Presumably the mechanism it operates inside the remote box has seized. I'm assuming you are referring to a side mount remote and the gear engaging lever that you squeeze before selecting forward or reverse.

I'll have a look in my Suzzy workshop manual as I think it has some details of remotes. Certainly have info on top mounts, but will check for you.

Sorry, I only have details on the top mount controls. I think you will either need to have a go yourself or speak to a dealer and get hold of the instructions. They are not very complex, so if you are reasonaby competent with a screwdriver I would sugest you try taking the back plate off and have a look inside.
