I had this dilemma last year and ended up opting for the Hydradrive with their Admiral 101 helm and 'bull horn' type ram. Very similar to the Seastar, but it had a better lock to lock ratio and a neater steering helm for more or less the same money. I had heard good and bad reports about the seastar systems.
