On a Suzuki 140hp is the engine year on a plate on the engine?

Not sure if the 4 strokes are the same, but on older Soozook 2-strokes, the first stamped digit of the engine number would give you the unit of the engine year.

mine was. it was with the serial number on the engine bracket.
