help with 96 johnson 90 hp

hello, i have a johnson 90 hp ocean runner, 60 degree motor, When i run motor on muffs the water streams out from pee hole but i also see a lot of water excapeing from where the lower unit mates up to the mid section. i dont believe this is right, i was planning on dropeing the lower end and checking the water pump, seems like mayby the water tube isnt secure or a bad grommet. Just was wondering if this is normal, there is a lot of water , not just a small trickle. any info would be a great help

Really? the water is comeing out the peehole and from an exhaust grate but it is also pouring from where the lower unit mates up along the seam? This didnt look right? I have a good stream and the motor is nice and cool but didnt want to put into the water till i was confident I didnt have to pull the lower unit and look at water pump. you believe this is normal and I dont have to worry? thats good new, just didnt seem right,

If you're really worried, post a video-but from your description it sounds like you don't have a problem.

Is water coming out of the centre of the prop?
