Help Balancing Carbs

Please could someone help?

My manual says to pinch off the enrichener tubes which connect the carbs together as in the diagram below, but my carb's do not have these....

Is there anything else i need to do or just connect the vacuum guages, make sure the engine is up to normal temp, set the revs to 1000 and then match the vacuum in the top 3 carbs to match the bottom one?

thanks in advance...........

Yep.

What gauges are you using? Dial or mercury?

Dial, wanted to avoid mercury as i was scared i would mess it up and it would all get sucked into the engine..
