Fuel Pipe

Almost have the SR4 ready for the water and need to get hold of some fuel pipe. I take it i can buy it by the metre off the reel?

Anyone know where i can buy some?

A motor factors should be able to supply this, or if there's a Pirtek near you, they are very helpful and competitively priced.

Think it's the 8mm on the Yam fitting isn't it? You can buy a set with bulb included but it may not be long enough. I bought 4 meters of the reel localy and got ripped off but I had it there and then.

Just phoned Pirtek and quoted £4.50 plus the VAT per metre.

Is that reasonable?

Not bad but cheaper on ebay.

I stock it in 5,6 & 8mm £1.50 per metre (will double check this). I have the clips aswell.

A bit strong - I generally pay around £1/ft, but haven't bought any for a year or so now, so it may have gone up.
I'd suggest you go in and see them (if they're local) and ask if there's an offcut you can have a bit cheaper. I don't suppose you're looking for a huge amount for a SR4?
