Fuel Filters - How Many inboard ?

I have a two stroke 80 hp fuel injected engine. I have two onboard fuel filters ( in addition to the water filter next to the tank) is this normal?

The first is a plain cylinder type filter which then feeds into to a bowl type (yamaha ) filter is this a normal set up?

Appreciate your guidance

One primary filter is normal - generally filtering particulate matter and water in the one housing. There will be a secondary filter under the engine housing as well - probably with a fine mesh for particles but very little water separation capacity....
