Flooded by a wave now running
Got this 98 mariner 4s 15hp for free story was he was landing the boat engine turned off, then a wave tipped the boat and after he could not start the engine left it in the garage for 3 years.
So first job was drain oil full of water and sludge pistons were seized freed them up. Now went to take carb apart look at this. Got a different carb on it it runs lovely but need to get proper carb.
Why did he leave it for 3 years with sea water in it.
