Finally got her going!

well after spending a lot of hours yesterday with an engine crane I got it all line up perfectly, and drilled away in to the transom, measuring every 5 seconds incase the wind or something had moved the engine out of alignment or anything, as it was well windy yesterday (f7!)

Today, with a clear head and totally not hungover (most unusual for a a sunday morning) went to the petrol station, got petrol, mixed up the oil, hooked it all up, cranked over 3 times, with a little bit of choke... and wallop the yamaha fired up superbly chucked out a very powerstream of water, sounds bloody fantastic! great sense of relief!

Offset?

Olly,

I don't want to be the bringer of bad news but in the top photo it looks like the engine is offset to port.
With a right hand propeller the engine should be offset to starboard.
I hope that the picture was taken before the drilling was done!
