Evinrude service cost?

50hp needs its first 3 year service. Been quoted £350? Is that a bit steep or about right.....

If it's an Etec, which I assume it is, it's steep. Where are you in the country?

Ah! out of my area, sorry. I paid a shade under £600 for a pair of 115s a couple of years ago. The 50 has half as many plugs & presumably no extra water separator under the cowl. The biggest job on yours is the impeller change. I've heard good things about Race & Marine in Taunton, but I've never used them personally. I think Hadd had his serviced there recently, might be worth dropping him a PM
