Ive allways done my outboard myself but my mate lives quite far away and it not as mechanicly competent!
the only tricky bit looks to be releasing the gear shift linkage as its right under the powerhead.
I managed to do my old Johnson 90 with a pair of very long nose pliers. but this engine looks impossible, does it use a special tool?

take the air box off, and a 1/4" drive with a swivle should get it,7/16s bolt, maybe click it in drive for a beter shot at it, ( pull the plug wires off the plugs be for you start, pull the kill swich out) make sure ya get the bolts in back, the one holdin the zink and the one under the zink, shiftin rod stays on the gearbox, don't let the shift rod turn, it's threded in at a set hight.
