In actual fact I think this this is a pretty good little stocking filler for an emergancy tool kit for the boat http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/s...egoryId_165572 oil it up and stick it in a jiffy bag to keep the salt away it would be a terriffic little buy.

If you decide to do it then heres a link showing you how you only have to go as far pic 8 the reverse out after inspecting/changing the impellor. It's not your exact leg but there won't be much difference.

Other than that change gearbox oil, sparkers (NGK NBR8HS 10 about 3 quid each) Keep the old plugs and impellor wrapped in Cling film aboard the boat just in Casey.

Check the lube level in your tilt trim if you have one also pay attention to the transportation lever that stops the mptor from falling back on it's tilt rams I dunno the proper name but I'm sure some one will. Clean / change all your filters including the external fuel filter. whip the prop off check the splines and thrust washers and grease and replace with a New split pin

check your electrical connections clean and grease with Vaseline or DC4 silicone grease. lube your hood catches

clean carbs That's about it I think.

In addition, you should check the throttle linkages are tight, flywheel nut is at correct torque, and clean thermostat and water passage recess is to remove salt residue.
