Engine recall

Hi all,

Can anyone enlighten me on the Yamaha HPDI recall in relation to the oil pump failure?

Any info. or advice gratefully received. I haven't launched the new Rib yet but have a brand new 150 Yamaha fitted and I'm now a bit worried!

I was talking with ribcraft today about this as i have a new 200 hpdi and they hadn't heard anything about it. They also said that because my engine is new it has been registered with yamaha in my name and if there's a problem they would send out a recall directly to me. I haven't heard anything yet and i was on the yamaha website last night and there was nothing there about a recall. so i'm just going to ingore it until i hear or see something solid.

Thanks for getting in touch. My engine is brand new as well so I guess I would be contacted direct also if there is a problem. Lets hope it's just a rumour.
