Dumb question - are these the Gear & Throttle cables?

Our new-to-us Brig Falcon 330HT with Suzuki DF20 has come to us with a few things that need sorting. Most are pretty obvious but I've never had a remote control outboard before so I would like help identifying the cables in the picture which are abraided and should really be replaced.

Are they the cables for the Throttle and Gear change?

I am confused because where the Throttle and Gear cables leave the console control they are black, then they disappear into the netting that holds everything together, and the abraided cables are blue. I can't see where the cables might change from black to blue but on the other hand I can't think what else these blue cables might be.

Yes. Nothing else they can be.

Looks like the plastic has allowed water ingress & it's rusting the outer cable so replacing is a good idea.

Take the cowling off & you'll see what they connect to.

Take photos & consider marking the ends to show which one goes where.

No idea why the colour change.
