Cummins-Mercury 4.2L D-Tronic???

I've seen lots of feedback in the forums on Volvo and Yanmar diesel sterndrives, and some on Mercruiser 1.7TD's. Has anyone had any experiences with the Cummins Mercury 4.2L D-Tronic 250hp? I'm running a tourboat and need lots of low-end torque and good fuel economy, and reliability of course. Not interested in high top speeds, and the RIB will be doing mostly short runs with lots of stops and idling, running approximately 4 to 6 hours a day year round. I could drop in a volvo or yanmar, but parts and service here are weak compared to Mercury. Any and all feedback is appreciated.

Whoa, 0 for 40 on the replies. Let me make the question simpler. Has anyone heard of this diesel motor? I'll even take rumours at this point...
