Parts catalogue

This site may be useful
Evinrude Parts | OMC | Mercury Outboard Parts | Mercruiser Parts

They are also good at delivering to the UK if you are buying a few parts and the savings balance shipping costs

Thinks I've a used one, if you email me a picture I'll check to see if it's the same. Unless he wants new of course.

thanks peter

ill email as soon as i take pics, ive been told (by an untrustworthy source) that there may be different coils for different cylinders? is this true, they all seem to look the same

also as soon as i took the suspect coil out, the magnet around the coil broke up could this also be a problem on the engine?

everyone we`ve asked about the engine says that its a fueling problem but the guy we bought the boat off says that he was told a braking down coil, so we pretty much stumped lol

We can probably supply this as we are a Mariner Mercury dealer and hold a wide range of spares.

You can call Paul in the office on 0208 788 4587 and he will be happy to help.

It would be useful if you have the model and/or serial number ready.

since my last post we`ve fitted new sparks and coils still not cured!!!!!!
shes lovely and smooth to half throttle 17-18 knots then bang she drops a cylinder, back off then she kicks back in, u can stay at half throttle all day and its lovely cruising at that speed just that u cant get full throttle.
any ideas lads?

Could be lots of things, possibly the high speed circuit in the stator, but you will need a DVA meter to get the readings.
