Battery charging

Hi guys and gals,
I’m trying maintain/charge and battery with my F25GMH, 6FMK 1018680 manufactured in 07/18 outboard engine.
I’m aware it has a stator and rectifier but it doesn’t deliver any power to charge the battery, despite it being correctly connected, fuse OK, etc.
I’ve been told that the charging system is just there to run the EFI.
Do I need a bigger stator? Because I’ve tried a different rectifier as recommended on a different forum which didn’t do anything.
To my limited knowledge I need a bigger stator. Anyone know a part number?
I don’t really fancy forking out a grand fir an electric start kit.
Thank for your help.

You probably need a charging kit another rectifier. for my Suzuki it was £106 complete all the connectors where there just plug and play with full instructions.
