Ancillary Engines

I'm considering carrying another engine.
Obviously I will lose space carrying this.
Do I go for a small 2 stroke (ala Yamaha Malta) or an electric outboard & carry another battery?

What size engines are to be considered - remember it's only a 4m RIB!

I have the 3.5 tohatsu on mine. if you are mounting it on the transom perm then you need a narrow engine to clear the main one as the transom is very narrow on the assault and the Suzuki or tohatsu is is ideal. If I thought I could get it to fit I would go for the 4 stroke Honda though yoiu can't beat the price at the moment.
I get 4.5 knots fully loaded with the 3.5 on my 5.3m.
