I do not think you can put a rev. limiter on a gas turbine. So what happens when the prop. comes out and the load is removed. Also turbines have a throttle response delay of about 2 secs. going up and down. That could be scary.

They are almost common in larger boats - they run with a disc over run brake and Outerlimits do a 53 footer I believe, there are Youtube videos of it running - very impressive! MTI are another US company that do them:
