20hp yam 2 stroke noise

Hi, I used my 20 hp yam and yam 360s in fresh water last week in Lake district for 4 hours or so...

when I pull the starter cord slowly a week later in the garage at home I can hear a noise from gear box area, like a squeaking noise.

Is this the rubber impeller (water pump) , and is this normal....??

Put the muffs on it and run it for a bit. Then recheck while it's still wet. Any impeller noise should go away (lubricated by the residual water.)
