2 stroke oil

I know it has been said on here before but as a senior ribber I cannot find it on the search, ah theses senior moments!! As the price of the leading brands is sky high does anyone use other brands like Morris and can they recommend?

Rock Oil

In the Olden Days () I would have put the kettle on and sat back while Codprawn did battle with the Proper Oil squad.

Has anyone heard from Codders lately? He's not been on for ages.

My yam doesn't like the Rock Oil much. It oils up at low speeds quite badly.
I changed to Morris last year and I'd recommend it. No oiling issues at all. Can't tell the difference in use between it and Quicksilver.

Quicksilver... that gets my vote. This is like arguing over recognised brand fuel v's supermarket fuel. It's okay now and again, but you can't beat the proper stuff.

Bad analogy seeing as all supermarket fuel comes from the same refineries and storage terminals as the stuff in the 'branded' garages...

Well I've got 100 litres of Quicksilver tcw3 left over from when I had a big 2 stroke. I'm slowly using it in other equipment but if you're ever this way I could spare some for what it cost me, about £1.75/litre.
