1999 25hp johnson

Just replaced the fuel pump and inline filter.
The motor seems to run ok on the muffs, but there is very little fuel visible passing through the fuel filter.
With the previous filter the fuel was not visible,do you think the motor will still run at full revs over a distance?

normal not to see fuel in the filter after a change, it flows through as needed. any air will work its way out.

That's a great help Mike,thanks.
I was a bit worried about going sea fishing,I have a 6hp Evinrude as a spare engine on a pulldown transom, but it's nice to know the fuel situation is normal.
