110hp Mercury

Have the chance of an old 110 Mercury for nothing but problem is it's stood for 9yrs without being used , guessing and assuming worst it prob not been flushed out properly etc so is it worth stripping down or just bin it and buy another engine for the rib ?

Mate said got 110merc so silly me thought 110hp haha
