Which Zodiac Valve Key?

Im having a challenge identifying which valve key i need to take out the valve (either inner or outer) on a 1998 Zodiac 380 DL... I was told that if the inner valve cap is black, the valve has to be cut out, but if green or white, that there is a key/wrench. I open mine up and its a blue cap? I want to remove either the outer or inner valve to pour in some liquid inflatable sealant to seal some micro holes effecting the performance of the left chamber of the PVC pontoon... Can i accomplish this with long needle nose pliers as well if carefully used? Thx
