Plastic Bunk material

I currently have my 2x6 bunks covered with outdoor carpet but would like to make it easier to winch on my trailer. I know there is commercially made strips but I really don't want to pay the price.
I can buy a 4x8 sheet of lightly textured fiberglass and cut to fit but not sure it'll be slick enough.
Any suggestions are appreciated

HDPE has a good slip coefficient as does nylon $ wise low ish cost but proper bunk carpet is pretty good cheaper too
