That's why I don't post much. I'll spend time looking on here but I don't want to raise my head above the parapet because that'll get my goat. I'll end up falling out with people and I definitely haven't got time for a protracted interweb argument/debate with a Ribnet regular.

I don't feel I'm in "the gang". That's not a problem but I can understand how others get tired of it.


There's been a few threads recently about this subject, "is Ribnet cliquey" etc.

As for the forum I think it's well managed, the freedom of speech exists, which is both good and bad at times for different people.

But at the end of the day it's a forum and you have to treat it as such.

If you read the comments on youtube or under the article links that people post on here to the mail online, you will see horrible comments and very nasty people. This doesn't happen here on RIBnet

I've met loads of you on here (even Mollers) and I have never met a nasty person yet.

The mods do a lot in the background (free of charge as they give up their time) to keep ribnet a safe place.

You can also report any post or block people if you want.

Just don't take anything to personally

Also, post away and lets have some good reading this winter

Not that it matters much, but I'm happy enough here at my end of the bar. Sipping a pint and listening to the regulars and assorted blowhards holding forth on this and that. The longer I listen the better I know who to listen to and who not to.

At the end of the day it's an organic thing. The only influence you have is to participate, and encourage the kind of discourse you want to engage in, or not.
