Starting commercial

I am planning to buy a 28 - 30' RIB for 'high speed sightseeing' for tourists in the summer here in Denmark.
We do have laws and rules concerning the boat - but very little demands as to the drivers competence/papers.
I have been sailing sail and motorboats for many years, but never anything with a speed above 20 knots.
What kind of courses should I attend to be as well prepared as possible ??

Well you already have plenty of knowledge of the Sea - experience is FAR more important than anything else so just get out there and have fun and practice with some friends BEFORE you start taking out the paying passengers.

It would be a good idea to try to go out on a similar "thrill ride" type trip first to see what the other people are doing and just how far they push the boats with passengers on board.

These people post on here quite often - I am sure they could help if you asked them nicely - they have loads of experience.

Also try having a word with

Very experienced at building - and more importantly supporting such ventures and have sent boats all over the World.

Don't know if you have already secured a boat etc but I know of a 10m Quinquari/Humber RIB with 2 x brand new 225hp ETECs and Raymarine radome plus all coding equipment up for sale. Drop me a line at the below email and I can point you in the owners direction. Heared it s a bit of a steal in terms of price and is less than 2 years old.
