If you are short of a driver, and need a commercially endorsed Advanced Powerboat ticket (and Coastal Skipper commercially endorsed as well) then give me a shout - I'm free towards the end of the month and it sounds interesting...

Thanks for the offer Gordon but I have Drivers aplenty just need the charter Rib for the swim across the Channel and a Hardboat.

Hi Tim,

Just to inform you, as i am sure you know, that any boats that are involved in a cross channel swim must be registered and approved by the cross channel swimming association. Not just coded, as i found out...

See ya

Hi Stuart
Yup have the heads up on the rules we have lost our slot due to the recent weather so we are now at the back of the queue hence trying to source the boats then get them approved by the assoc proving very hard .

channel crossing

Have you tried Lance at Dover sea school as he and his dad are heavily involved with the channel swim assoc.
