Anyone heard of Thomsom Crewing based in Swansea

Has anyone heard of a recruitment/crewing agency based in Swansea?
I have been offered a job but the English and grammar on all the letters is suspect. I keep waiting for the next letter to ask me for my bank account details.
They had an ad in FAFB this week. Any advice welcome.

Someone on here perhaps? No trace on Google, for either Thomson or Thomsom

I'd imagine that they'll need you to shell out for a "safety course" or "background check" or some such nonsense.

Tell them that you and your Royal Marine bruvver will be up that way next week and you can call in and discuss the arrangements in person then

Oh, was it this ad on FAFB?

That's proporting to be from Thomson Cruises, Karen Doyle is their Manager for Cruises - most unlikely her name and number would be associated with a duff ad like that one.

Scam.

Just checked and FAFB have removed the contact details but the ad is still up and running on the Deckhand link. Having read the list of jobs and qualifications they are looking for it would indicate to me that either Thompson are going into SuperYachts or this is a scam as the CoC's they have listed are all for SuperYachts which aren't valid on a passenger vessels!

Does anyone know anyone at Thompson Cruises as I'm sure they would love to know their name is being taken in vain?
